Get started

1. Sign in

Open nextvoice.contact and sign in with Google. Your account holds your receptionists, phone numbers, call history, and subscription.

2. Create a receptionist

Open Voice agents and choose Create voice agent. Use a name you will recognize, such as Main Reception or Sales Desk. Open Manage & test to continue setup.

3. Add your business details

Complete Knowledge, Rules & Behavior, and Fallback Routing. Include your services, opening hours, answers to common questions, what the receptionist may collect, and when it should hand a caller to a person. Choose a voice and greeting.

See Receptionist setup for a practical checklist.

4. Rehearse a browser call

Choose Start testing or Try a browser call. Allow microphone access, speak as a customer, and listen to the answers. Try a normal enquiry, an appointment request, and a request to speak to a person. Select End Test when you finish, then review the transcript and decisions.

Browser tests simulate calendar actions and human handoffs. Test the current configuration successfully after any edit before publishing.

5. Choose a plan and assign a number

Open Pricing and select a plan for your expected call volume. Open Phone numbers, reserve a business number, and assign it to your receptionist. Connect Google Calendar in Settings if appointment booking is enabled.

See Phone numbers and calls and Calendar and billing.

6. Publish and make a real test call

Complete the readiness checklist, select Mark ready, then Publish agent. Call the assigned number from your phone. Confirm the greeting, answers, and handoff behavior before sharing the number with customers.

Review customer calls in Call activity, bookings in Appointments, and usage in Analytics and Settings.
